Emory University has placed 144 student athletes on the University Athletic Association Winter All-Academic Team which was announced on Wednesday, March 1. 884 total student athletes from the UAA were recognized on the All-Academic team.

FULL UAA RELEASE

To be named to the UAA Winter All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete at least one full year of college study and carry a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.30.

The 3.30 GPA is the same academic standard used as a qualifying threshold by the College Sports Communicators, previously the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), for the nomination of Academic All-America candidates in all sports.

The 144 Eagles recognized were spread out over six sports that compete traditionally in the winter. Men's swimming and diving lead the Eagles with 37 selections.
